Join us and help others to see better and live better
Visioncall has been a leading eye care provider to the UK care home sector since 1994, delivering sight tests to those unable to visit a high street optician. As a mobile Optical Assistant with Visioncall, you will gain far more than just a normal position in practice. Working as part of a team, you will play a major part within the business and help to make a real difference to our patients’ lives. You will travel to different care homes across the region, building engaged relationships with care managers, nurses, care staff and their residents.
We’re about empowering our people and mentoring them to develop and think for themselves, enabling them to really help our patients with their eye care needs to see and live better. Are you passionate about doing the right thing for our patients and looking for more professional freedom? Then we want to hear from you.
An amazing place to work
Latest equipment
You may be mobile but our optics equipment will rival any high street practice (digital fundus camera, mobile slit lamp, I-care tonometer) and our industry-leading digital records system means no paperwork.
Unrivalled flexibility
We don’t work weekends at Visioncall and you can choose the number of days you work too, allowing you to spend more time with family and on hobbies.
Time to make a difference
We listen and get to know our customers needs, never forgetting the privilege it is to be invited into their home. We can see exactly how they will be using their new glasses, giving them a really personalised service so you have the power to make a real difference.
Peer support
We empower our people and you are trusted to make autonomous decisions, but if you ever need a second opinion you can get one in minutes from our teams at Head Office.
